Abbie Onibonoje

Abbie joined Truth Legal in 2026 as a Senior Solicitor and Team Leader of the Employment Law team.

Abbie is an experienced employment lawyer and strategic adviser who supports both businesses and individuals on a wide range of workplace issues. She advises employers, boards and senior leadership teams on managing workforce, operational and legal risk, while also helping employees navigate Employment Tribunal claims and settlement negotiations.

She has extensive experience advising on the employment aspects of mergers, acquisitions and business restructuring, including TUPE transfers, workforce due diligence and post-deal integration. Abbie also advises on executive exits, settlement agreements, outsourcing arrangements, regulatory compliance and cross-border employment matters.

A memorable achievement for Abbie has been supporting organisations through complex business change projects, helping them successfully manage workforce issues while protecting their commercial objectives. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with senior decision-makers to deliver practical employment law advice that enables businesses and individuals to move forward with confidence.

Outside of work, Abbie enjoys spending time with her family, movie nights, bicycle riding and travelling.
