Georgina Parkin

Georgina is the Managing Director and a co-owner of Truth Legal.

She joined Truth Legal as a Trainee Solicitor in 2013, rapidly rising to the position of Director in 2016 and Managing Director in 2019. In January 2021, Georgina became co-owner of Truth Legal.

As a Solicitor with over 14 years of experience in personal injury litigation, Georgina has acted for injured Claimants in a variety of cases including accidents at work, road traffic accidents, assaults at work, public liability, product liability and clinical negligence. She has a particular interest in chronic pain disorders and serious injury cases.

Whilst Georgina usually represents Claimants at Truth Legal, she has previously represented Defendant insurance companies and retail organisations.

She also has experience in Employment Tribunal litigation and has represented Claimants in relation to unfair dismissal and discrimination claims.

Georgina is an experienced speaker and lecturer. She has provided training to doctors and consultants in relation to how to become medico-legal expert witnesses and to improve their practice as expert witnesses. She has also been a speaker at personal injury and medico-legal conferences.

Georgina is a former President of the Harrogate and District Law Society.

Outside of work, Georgina is a mother of two children under the age of five. She will happily talk to you about the juggles of being a Managing Director/business owner with family life!
