About Lucy Culpin
Lucy Culpin joined Truth Legal in January 2020 as a Paralegal. Lucy was promoted to Trainee Solicitor where she spent a period of training in our Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Employment Law departments. Lucy completed her training at Slater Heelis in Manchester whilst on a six-month secondment working in their Family Law department. Lucy re-joined the firm in September 2022 as a Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence solicitor.
Lucy has acted for injured Claimant’s in a wide range of cases including accidents in the workplace, accidents in public areas, civil assaults at work, product liability claims and road traffic accidents. Lucy’s particular interest lies with claims arising from civil assaults at work.
Within her Clinical Negligence work, Lucy has acted for Claimant’s suffering from negligent aesthetic treatments and cases involving treatment with fatal outcomes.
Lucy recognises the importance of building a genuine rapport with her clients to support them through what can sometimes be the most difficult time of their life. Lucy’s passion for her role of helping others can be seen at the forefront of all her work. Lucy understands how difficult personal injury and clinical negligence claims can be for individuals and she advises her clients in a way that they can truly understand the claims process.
Within Truth Legal, Lucy leads the social committee for all staff events. Lucy also currently sits on the committee of the Harrogate and North Yorkshire Junior Lawyers Division as the Events Coordinator.
Outside of work, Lucy enjoys spending time with family and friends, dog walks, horse riding and spin classes.
