Tim Robinson

Tim qualified as a Solicitor in 1996 after completing the Legal Practice Course in Nottingham, having previously studied Philosophy at Birkbeck, University of London.

He joined Truth Legal in November 2021 after a long career working for firms in London, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, including Pattinson & Brewer, Underwoods, Knowles Benning and Gisby Harrison. He relocated to Yorkshire to be closer to his granddaughter.

With nearly 30 years’ experience in personal injury and civil litigation, Tim represents claimants in a wide range of cases, including workplace accidents, road traffic accidents, slips and trips, fatal accident claims, Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority claims, and claims involving children and vulnerable individuals. He also has experience in other areas of dispute resolution, including contentious probate, boundary disputes, consumer matters and contract disputes. Having dealt with claims from initial instruction through to trial, mediation and settlement negotiations, Tim brings a wealth of experience to every case.

Tim is particularly passionate about ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout their claim. He understands that legal proceedings can often feel daunting and believes that clear communication is just as important as strong legal advice. Clients value his straightforward approach and his ability to explain complex legal issues in plain English, without unnecessary jargon.

One aspect of his career that Tim is particularly proud of is the breadth of experience he has developed across both personal injury and wider civil litigation. He has represented clients throughout every stage of the dispute resolution process, from initial investigations to hearings in both the County Court and High Court, and has appeared as an advocate in the higher courts.

Outside work Tim enjoys spending time with his family and day trips out with his granddaughter; also watching football and spending time outdoors, particularly climbing mountains in Scotland.
